Call for Submissions 2018
The Horizon Festival is the signature multi-arts festival for the Sunshine Coast region. Over 10 arts-fuelled days, the Sunshine Coast plays host to a curated program of art, including theatre, visual art, performance, music, comedy, street art, workshops and immersive art.
Horizon invites artists to present their own independently-produced work in partnership with the festival. By celebrating our talented local artists alongside national and international guests, Horizon provides the Sunshine Coast with an incredible program full of unique arts experiences.
This year, Horizon is developing a more curatorial approach to the programming of our Festival and we are curretly inviting artists to register their interest for:
Art on Another Level
Explore and respond to a multi-level urban environment, presenting your work within an experiential & interactive multi-arts events on the opening weekend of Horizon 2018.

Art in Place - submissions closed
Explore and respond to the incredibly diverse and inspiring landscape of the Sunshine Coast, from our iconic coast and hinterland to unique townships and urban spaces.
Immersive - submissions closed
Captivate, enrich and inspire audiences with interactive or participatory arts experiences.
Exhibitions - submissions closed
Present a unique and contemporary exhibition that is locally relevant to the Sunshine Coast.
Workshops - submissions closed
Provide unique experiences and development opportunities in a workshop format.
